Asking Alexandria started out as a small local band based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2008. When lead guitarist Ben Bruce moved back to his native York, England he left his former band members behind but persued his band project with it's original name. Once the band released their debut album 'Stand Up And Scream' in September of 2009 there was no doubt that there was nowhere to go but up. With new members, new songs and a new sound the band has redifined what it means to be ASKING ALEXANDRIA.
The band is currently working on a new album that is expected later on in the year, it is much anticipated after debut album 'Stand Up And Scream' boomed skyrocked the band into the metal scene. Tours throughout North America and Europe are also expected in the coming months.
